Visa Regulations

There are 2 types of e-Visas to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

1) Tourist E-Visa and Visa on Arrival (UK & 48 countries):

  • Minimum age of applicant is 18 years old
  • Underage applicants require an individual above 18 years old to be the guardian and travel with them
  • When applying, passport validity must be for at least 6 months at the time of entering Saudi Arabia*
  • Refund in case of rejection is not possible. Visa fees are non-refundable
  • Overstay fees: SAR 100 for each day of overstay when the visa expires without leaving Saudi Arabia.
  • Religion of applicant is not relevant
  • Countries with bilateral agreements can apply for the visit visa through e-visa or visa on arrival, or through the consulate visa (USA, UK, South Korea and Japan)

* For citizens of USA, an extended validity of 6 months after the passport expiry date is permissible for application

As per the law of KSA, non-muslims may not enter Makkah or Madinah and must make alternative arrangements to any neighbouring city during their visit to KSA.

I would like a tourist visa- how do I apply? Should I book the tourist e-visa with Hasan Travel & Tours or directly myself?

It is totally up to you, you can process your e-visa directly by yourself or you can sit back and relax while we process your tourist e-visa on your behalf, your application details and photo will be taken once you complete your booking.

 

2) Umrah Visa (UK & Rest of the World):

  • Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of return
  • The original passport must be handed in along with a recently taken colour photo on a white/ light-grey background
  • ACWY meningitis vaccination (certificate copy) (keep with you when you travel)
  • Foreign passport holders must provide an original residence visa or permit with a minimum 6 months validity from the date of return
  • Women and children who do not have the same surname as their Mahram must provide a copy of their marriage or birth certificate to prove their relationship

How do I obtain my Umrah e-Visa?

The above documents must be submitted to our Hasan Travel & Tours office at the latest, 30 days before the date of travel departure that you book.
Failure to do the above may result in not being able to obtain a valid Umrah visa for your period of travel which will result in you not being able to travel.

Will I get my Umrah e-Visa ?

  • Hasan Travel & Tours works directly with Saudi Umrah Visa Umrah Operators who are appointed by the Ministry of Hajj & Umrah and the Ministry of Saudi Tourism.
  • Hasan Travel & Tours is an approved Umrah Operator Worldwide.
  • As long as you have provided all the relevant documents to our Hasan Travel & Tours Office on time, there should be no reason for your Visa to be rejected.
  • If you have a special request and you would like to delay or fast-track your Umrah/ Tourist e-Visa Application, please contact mail@hasantravel.com and our team will notify you if we can help with your request.
  • Your Umrah e-Visa is normally granted within two weeks of submitting your documents to us. Please ensure all the documents from the above requirements are handed in 30 days before the date of travel departure.

Disclaimer: All visa payments are strictly non-refundable. Your visa (Tourist & Umrah) can be refused by the Saudi Authorities without any reason, though this is quite rare!

  • Are you 18+ and double vaccinated? (12-18 year-olds must be vaccinated to travel)
  • Pre-arrival registration on Muqeem portal
  • Passenger Locator Form for UK (Day 2 Lateral Flow Test Required)
  • Sim card with data package
  • Tawakkalna App (Health Passport)
  • Eatmarna App (Umrah & Prayer Permits) permits are subject to availability
  • Double / Twin rooms only
  • No Zamzam in Airport, pre-purchase from Makkah or Madinah (we will support as part of group tours)
  • Ensure the flight is not on Saudi Red-list
  • Travel Insurance is Highly Recommended
